Boxing

Boxing is a sport in which two participants throw punches at each other while wearing protection and that's gloves. Boxing is an Olympic and Commonwealth game sport and is seen in most of the international games. It also has its own World Championship.

The game is supervised by a referee over a series of 1-3minutes interval. The result is decided when a participant isn't capable of continuing. The loser and winner is hence pronounced by the judges sitting on the bylines by showcasing the scorecards which they marked throughout the game. If both the boxers get equal points through game is considered as a draw and the judges use technical criteria to choose the deserving winner.

Rules :

A boxing match consists of general rules which is governed by modern boxing since their publication in 1867. A match consists of three minute rounds a total upto 9 to 12 rounds. The match is controlled by the ref to maintain discipline. Upto three judges site on the ringside to score and assist points. If a boxer is knocked out and is lying on the floor the ref counts upto 10 and if he doesn't get up the opponent wins that round.
